Formed in 2008, They Are Cowards are a North-Western outfit creating depressed, downbeat and downtuned music. With ¾ of TAC having played together successfully for 18 months prior and knowing Paul through friendship and reputation he seemed a natural choice.
Uninterested in the double-page spread culture we aim to create music that is solely for our benefit. Purging what we need to relieve ourselves of. Nothing more than what we are.
With a love for the riff and the slow, They Are Cowards do what comes naturally; what happens, happens and the music reflects this. A simple outlook, a love of playing live and making a glorious racket has bonded this mob of four scumbags into a solid band ready to kick you into next week.
